While we are constantly planning and organizing as many events as we can for the cause, there are several actions which you can take for Gaza as well. To update you on the current situation, the death toll continues to rise, over 420 people today, and this massacre has been deemed the bloodiest since 1967. The conditions in the hospitals are very bad given that Gaza has been cut off from all vital resources by the UN and neighboring countries. Here are options that can be used to help Palestine through this crisis.

VIGILS AND DEMONSTRATIONS:
1) DEMONSTRATION (MONTREAL)
When: Sunday January 4th at 12:30.
Where: Square Cabot (corner St-Catherine and Atwater) near the Atwater Metro station.

PRESSURE AND ASSISTANCE can help stop a crisis and protect civilians from harm.
1) CMP (Canadian Muslims for Palestine) are organizing a letter writing campaign to Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Lawrence Cannon, in order to lobby Canada’s complicity towards Israel’s illegal siege and ongoing sanctions over the civilian population in Gaza. www.cmpalestine.org.
2) Factsheets are available at www.cjpme.org and are available for anyone who wishes to distribute. These are very informative factsheets and will help raise awarness of the issue
