I try to avoid putting too many personal family photos on my blog unless they have some anthropological value. But I will make an exception here. Yesterday was one of my best friends’ wedding. Tania was the very first true friend I made in Canada. She is Armenian-Lebanese. I’ve been in Canada for 20 years and I’ve known Tania for over 18 years of those. We practically grew up together and now she has married Denis, whom I absolutely adore. May is usually a sad month for the Palestinians who commemorate the Nakbah during this time. I’m glad I have now a happy occasion to remember the month of May. Enjoy the photos of a typical Montreal intercultural wedding where Québec, Armenia, Lebanon, Canada, Palestine (and the list of countries goes on) meet.
